Anadarko

Anadarko is the county seat of Caddo County, Oklahoma, located 50 miles southwest of Oklahoma City. Named after the Nadaco branch of the Caddo Nation (Nadá-kuh meaning "bumblebee place"), the city's post office was established in 1873. It was opened to settlement via a 1901 land lottery and is home to the National Hall of Fame for Famous American Indians and Riverside Indian School.
