Broken Bow's Black Communities

Broken Bow's Black Communities and Dunbar High School chronicles the early history of Broken Bow, including family life, leisure time, and black churches. The book is filled with facts and stories of the black citizens of Broken Bow, and although it may appear condemning of the segregated environment, the author has a great love for his hometown. His desire was to preserve the memories and experiences shared as a legacy for future generations.
