Kim D. Parrish

Kim Parrish earned a J. D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law, M.P.A. from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and B.S. from Oklahoma State University

After serving as an Oklahoma County Assistant District Attorney, Judge Parrish was in private practice for fourteen years with the firm of Derryberry, Quigley, Parrish and Solomon before his appointment as a federal administrative law judge in 1995. He is the co-editor of The Harvard Guide to Influential Books, and author of the national award-winning Cowboy Up: John Smith Leads the Legendary Oklahoma State Cowboys To Their Greatest Season Ever. He is currently working diligently on his third book!

Judge Parrish has taught, written, and practiced in the areas of negotiation, mediation, dispute resolution, and public diplomacy for more than 30 years. He also serves as a lead instructor for incoming federal administrative law judges and has spoken in numerous continuing professional programs in the area judicial administration throughout his career.
