Max Moss, Jr.

Max Moss, JR., grew up the son of a lifelong newspaper man and spent his youth enjoying sports and fishing as much as possible near his hometown of Clarksville, Tennessee. After graduating from Western Kentucky University in 1986, he pursued a brief career in journalism and then decided to attend Law school at Oklahoma City university. He joined the Pittsburgh County District Attorney's Office in 1995 and served as Assistant District Attorney for 5 years before working full-time for the Oklahoma National Guard beginning in 2000. Moss spent more than 30 years on active duty and in the National Guard as an Infantry and Engineer Officer before retiring in 2016 as the Guard’s Director of Media and Civilian Relations. Moss and his wife, Terri, live in Stigler, Oklahoma, where he has resumed practicing law. He is a proud father of two young men, Evan and Levi, both of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and a daughter, Kennan Neuman Buckner, of Richmond, Texas.
